Chelsea will look for a 10th consecutive match unbeaten on Sunday when they take on Brentford at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have fallen short against the Bees in recent matches, with Thomas Frank's side tasting the latest defeat against their more famous west London rivals in late 2021.
However, Frank will not face a Chelsea side that plays with the same intensity as Enzo Maresca. The Brentford boss has already described the Blues as “the best team in the Premier League”.
The Sunday hosts were in the middle of the week as they did Travel to KazakhstanBut those who appeared on Thursday are unlikely to play a role here. This is the team Mariska could choose for this all-London case.
Goalkeeper: Robert Sanchez – If there is a player in Maresca's 'stronger' squad whose position should be under scrutiny, it is Sanchez. The Spaniard was sad in the victory over Tottenham last Sunday, especially in the first half.
RB: He doesn't want – Giusto replaced Romeo Lavia in the first half at N17 and could be named in the starting lineup. The Frenchman has been used as an assistant playmaker at times this season, so the extent of his turnovers this weekend will be an interesting subplot.
Centre-back: Levi Colwell – Colwell recently lost his centre-back partner Wesley Fofana to a hamstring injury, and we should see the England international line up at right centre-back on Sunday given the substitution made by Maresca in the first half of Tottenham's win.
Centre-back: Benoit Badiashelli – Badiashile came in to replace Fofana, but he never settled in at RCB last weekend. Things improved when the former Monaco defender switched to his natural team.
LB: Mark Cucurella – The absence of windy conditions should mean the playing surface will be dry this weekend, so the Spaniard should have no concerns about footwear.
CM: Moises Caicedo – The powerful Ecuadorian is having a fantastic season and is the backbone of the Chelsea squad. The versatile Maresca midfielder will hold down the fort in the middle of the park this weekend.
Midfielder: Enzo Fernandez – Fernandes' return has been crucial to Chelsea's recent success, with the Argentine continuing his rich run in front of goal last weekend. Gusto's inclusion may limit the freedom he gains to operate between the lines, but Caicedo's presence provides the silky midfielder with some much-needed stability.
RM: Noni Maddock – Maresca wants more from Madueke, who is undoubtedly having a good season. However, Pedro Neto appears to have usurped him on the depth chart. Fortunately for England Internationally, Neto has been suspended for Sunday's game, so he is ready to start.
AM: Cole Palmer – Okay, so maybe we've all gone a bit overboard about Panenka, but the hype surrounding Palmer as a performer is largely justified. The instinctive playmaker has 17 goal contributions in 15 league games this season.
LM: Jadon Sancho – The world of football is a better place when Sancho plays with a smile on his face. The winger was excellent at Tottenham last weekend after seeing his momentum in the blue stall due to injury. Sancho deserves to be in the team.
ST: Nicholas Jackson – the Chelsea The striker was not involved in the action last weekend and will be keen to take advantage of a Brentford backline that has been porous in their outings this season.
