Hernandez is considered a left-wing player but is also capable of playing on the right side. He renewed his contract with his current team last April, and although they expect him to leave in the upcoming transfer windows, it is added that the Spanish team will demand his departure. The 22-year-old's release clause will be paid €20m (£16.7m) so he can leave the club next month.
So far, no club has matched this, while Hernandez “will not be forced out” and concerns over his potential playing time at Chelsea are also moot. However, the west London side appear ready to push hard for his inclusion in the upcoming transfer windows.
