90s stars and old friends Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar are bringing holiday cheer this season.

Bure and McKellar kicked off the winter break with the first-ever Great American Family Christmas Festival at Northwell Park at USB Arena in New York. Bure became the creative director of the Great American Family Channel in 2022.

Dubbed the “Queen of Christmas Movies” by fans, Bure has had her fair share of sweet holiday kisses on screen. She told Fox News Digital about her husband's reaction when he acted in romantic scenes and what that was like It affected their marriage.

“I don't think it's comfortable for anyone — maybe if you're an actor married to another actor — it's just Never comfortable To watch your wife in someone's arms, even though it's a kiss or a kiss or whatever,” the “Full House” star shared.

However, the “Home Sweet Christmas” actress noted that her husband has been “very supportive” and “proud” of all of her projects.

“We had these honest conversations. He was like, 'I don't really want to watch this part' and 'I don't want to put you through that.' But…we kind of dealt with those feelings to get to a place where we felt good and were supported by it.” “

Bure married former NHL player Valeri Bure in June 1996. They have three children: Natasha, Lev, and Maxim.

McKellar, who stars in Great American Family's “A Cinderella Christmas Ball,” has a 14-year-old son, Draco, with ex-husband Mike Virta. She is currently married to attorney Scott Swislowski, who also has a son from a previous relationship.

The two famous friends have been bonded over their faith since Burry first took McKellar to church. McKellar said it changed her overall lifestyle, as she mentioned an hour before her talk with Fox News Digital that she was listening to “Bible Summary.”

“I don't know how I lived my life before…I don't know how I handled things,” McKellar said. “There is this peace that passes understanding.”

“I live an exhausting life… and having that relationship (with faith) is everything… I wish that joy for others… Part of what I'm so passionate about with Great American Family is that it's all about faith, family and country… We “It can help people find that light.”

Bure also stars in “A Christmas Less Traveled” with Eric Johnson and “Let it Snow” with Jesse Hatch. She's been acting in Christmas movies for more than a decade and told Fox News Digital her secret to creating compelling holiday content.

“I love making these films. I never imagined 15 years ago when I made my first film that this genre would be huge for so many years,” she said.

“But I keep making them because people love them… People feel very touched, and it means something to them, whether it's a new tradition they've created for their family or because they watch some of our films, and they connect in some meaningful way.”

She added that she received positive comments for her film “A Christmas Less Traveled,” in which her character discovered a recorded message from her late father on an old audio tape.

Fans expressed that “the film was very touching” and “helped” them “through the holidays,” while some viewers could relate to the story of their parents' deaths.

“That's why I keep making them,” Puri said.

It was also reported that McKellar was writing for Great American Family Media in addition to acting in its films. McKellar stars in her 11th Christmas movie, as Hallmark has produced many of her previous films.

McKellar told Fox News Digital that she is “loyal” to Great American Media CEO Bill Abbott, who was the former CEO of Hallmark.

“I really credit Bill for reviving my career…making me a part of the genre of rom-coms and Christmas rom-coms. (I'm) very grateful to him. And I always will be.”

As America's great family hosts its first-ever Christmas festival, Puri explained why the company decided to create this holiday experience.

“We've been dreaming about this for many years, and we really wanted to create an environment where you can get the whole family together and experience Christmas. It's kind of like being in one of our movies,” Bure told Fox News Digital.

During the holiday, festival-goers can take photos with Santa, go ice skating, and enjoy great food and games. Fans also get the chance to meet talent, including Mario Lopez who stars in “Once Upon a Christmas Wish.”

'Full House' Star Dave Coulier Diagnosed with 'Very Aggressive' Cancer

Bure rose to fame as DJ Tanner in “Full House,” starring alongside Mary-Kate, Ashley Olsen, Jodie Sweetin, John Stamos, Bob Saget, and Dave Coulier.

Collier recently revealed that he was diagnosed with stage III non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She said they remained close friends over the years, and she spoke to him “almost every day.”

“He's one of my best friends. He's my family. It's devastating news,” she told Fox News Digital. “We are all very hopeful…we are praying and doing everything we can do to support him…..”

“Full House” co-star Stamos recently took some heat for how he chose to stand in “solidarity” with his good friend Coulier. The 61-year-old posted a photo on social media wearing a bald cap alongside Collier, who pre-emptively shaved his head before starting cancer treatment.

Bure shared that she was “surprised” by the fans who did this Swipe the image.

“I know humor and I know friendship… Dave wants to deal with his diagnosis with humor… John is one of his best mates, and this was something they did together, and they laughed through it. But… people deal with that kind of thing. “It's different. “I'm surprised by the backlash, but I know that all the intentions were really good.”

The Great American Family Christmas Festival is scheduled to continue until December 24.
