New Orleans Police Department body camera footage released Friday morning shows officers responding to the scene New Year's terrorist attack On Bourbon Street, which left 15 dead, including the attacker, Shams al-Din Jabbar.
NOPD footage obtained by Fox News Digital through a public records request shows officers confronting Jabbar, still in the white Ford-150 he hit Bourbon Street About 3:15 a.m. on January 1.
The footage appears Several officers approach Jabbar's truck, Which was rented in Houston, at which point he began shooting at police from underneath a deployed airbag. Loud gunfire can be heard in approximately 13 seconds of footage released by NOPD on Friday.

The video also shows a number of civilians fleeing the gunfire. NOPD previously reported that two officers were wounded in the shootout that ultimately led to Jabbar's death.
