On Monday, the Grover Beach Police Department in California released dramatic body camera footage of a man being rescued from inside a burning trailer.
The cause of the fire was determined to be a portable propane heater.
Grover Beach officers were able to prevent the fire from spreading. The man was taken to the hospital and suffered only minor injuries, according to police.
As temperatures dropped to 8 C (47 F) on Friday evening, fire officials issued a warning urging caution for people using portable heaters in small or crowded spaces.
