Brooke Shields She's no ordinary mom, she's a “cool mom” — at least according to her daughter's latest Instagram post.
The actress' daughter Rawan, 21, shared a photo of her matching tattoo Instagram story On Saturday, January 4, I wrote “Mother-Daughter Bonding.”
The tattoo, which appears to be written in ink on the women's left forearms, reads: “And to the party.” Post tagged east side ink and tattoo artist Matt Gutierrez.
Shields, 59, also shared the photo to her story with the caption: “Another matching tattoo of my bug 🐞.”
To celebrate Rowan's high school graduation in 2021, the duo received… Matching ladybug tattoos. Shields got her ink on the inside of her left wrist, while Rowan chose to display her new ink on the back of her left ankle.
“A special graduation gift and memory with my girl 🐞 I am so proud of you, I love you more than words can say,” Shields captioned: Instagram Pictures of that time.
Earlier this year, Shields also shared the inspiration behind another set of matching tattoos — this time with her youngest daughter, Greer, 18. (She shares Rawan and Jarir with her husband) Chris Henchy.)

Shields became vulnerable on Instagram last summer after she dropped her daughters off to college and officially “Empty nestRowan is a senior at Wake Forest University, while Greer has just started her first year at the North Carolina school.
“At least they're together,” an emotional Shields said as she wiped tears from her eyes in a video posted to Instagram in August. “It's not easy. It's not easy for mothers. I mean, it's so weird. It's weird that Greer's not here.”
Shields said they cried as they said goodbye before letting out a big sigh. She commented on the video, saying: “Both my little birds have left the nest 🪺😫🪹.”

Shields has had a busy 2024, starring in the Netflix series Mother of the bridewas elected president of the Actors' Equity Association—a labor union that represents theater artists and managers—and launched her hair brand Commence for women over 40.
“If I'm not a mom 24/7, then who am I?” She said to New York Times In June. “I truly empathize with a lot more than people give me credit for. May I remind you that I am still a woman and I am still a human being.”
