Newport, 39, wore a familiar Carolina Herrera dress while filming the movie The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 reunion. like Bravo Newport revealed the cast's look on Thursday, January 9, and explained that the cherry red dress was originally worn by the cast Karlie Kloss in 2021 Met Gala.
“It was designed specifically for me to wear or buy,” she told Bravo, noting that the piece is “not a loan.”
The dazzling gown featured a plunging neckline with floral ruffles outlining her arms, a short skirt, and an all-over train. Just like Kloss, 32, Newport wore the same silk bag that Kloss carried on the red carpet.

To create a look of her own, Newport styled the piece with red Valentino pumps and Melissa Kaye diamond rings and earrings.
The Newport charm tied her look together perfectly thanks to her makeup artist Sofia Vallejoswho created an entire beat including long lashes, natural eye shadow, rosy, defined cheeks and a peppery red pout. Her brown hair was parted in the middle and styled into a chin-length puff Jacob Rosenberg.
When Kloss wore this outfit, she sparkled with dangling diamond earrings, nude nails, and black pointed-toe heels.
Newport later took it over Instagram To flow on wear a close-up dress. “So grateful to (designer) Wes Gordon and Carolina Herrera for pulling out Karlie Kloss's actual Met Gala dress from their archives, sewing it, and selling it to me for the big day and for my own collection.”
