Brighton signed Greece under 21 years old Stefanus Tzimas in a five and a half years of Nuremberg.

Tzimas will spend the remainder of the season on loan in Nurnberg as part of the deal with 2.Bundesliga Club after they exercised their choice to sign the player from Paok Salonika before selling it to Brighton.

“Stefanos is an exceptional young talent, medium forward with a natural ability to score goals, and we are very happy to sign him,” said Fabian Herzeller.

“It will join us in the summer, before the next season, but we are really looking to work with him, and we feel that he has a very exciting future.”

Tzimas scored 10 goals in 17 league matches this season, and the 19 -year -old coach David Weir will be better presented through residency in Germany.

“The second half of the season will spend with Nuremberg, who gave him an excellent opportunity this season, to continue his development in the Bundesliga 2.

“We will closely monitor his progress, and we wish him success in the second half of the season with Nuremberg.”

Brighton is interested in the Sunderland Watson wing

Brighton, who was beaten 7-0 in Nottingham Forest on Saturday, could be a crowded deadline.

They have already sold Benicio Baker-Boaitey to Millwall and striker Ivan Ferguson is likely to complete the loan transfer to West Ham.

Segulls is still interested in the Sunderland Tommy Watson wing, although clubs have not yet agreed on fees for the 18 -year -old.
