Bill Maher has made it clear how he feels about the “crazies” inside him Democratic Party In an interview with The Wall Street Journal on Saturday.

I'll go where the gold is.” Maher expanded on his talk about comedy, adding: “I believe that humor is one of the best ways to get to the truth, and perhaps the best, especially in politics,” and that “when someone laughs, it is involuntary, so you can make the audience laugh.” Admit that they agree with you even if they don't really want to.”
The interviewer responded by saying, “But the awake person does not always laugh.” Maher agreed, saying, “That's one of the problems I have with the left. They can't bear to hear something they don't actually agree with. Not that the right doesn't do it, too, but the left does it worse.”

Maher also touched on how his liberal friends can't stand the fact that he invites conservative guests, like Ann Coulter, to his show. “I've had liberal friends who couldn't stand it. Just think what that is,” Bill pauses dramatically, “these are the people who hate me because I won't hate them,” he repeats again, “the people who hate me 'cause I won't hate them.”
After being asked: “Why do people on the left find it impossible to be harmonious with those with whom they disagree?” “It's in their psychological profile, they have this need for virtue signaling, and for their friends — and I think everyone on social media — to think of them as a good person,” Maher responded. “‘We the good people. We know who the good is.'”
With many speculating about whether Maher was thinking about changing parties, Maher denied this idea, saying: “Many Republicans Say, “Maybe we can get Bill Maher.” No, you can't. What you can get is that Bill Maher is honest about the left. “I will not join your team that does not believe in democracy.”
Although he does not plan to switch parties himself, Maher noted that there are voters who “are not particularly fond of Trump, and are not oblivious to his many faults, but just feel that the lunatic on the left is somehow worse.” “I don't agree with them, but I understand that I don't hate them for voting for him.”

He believes that Republicans will dominate Democrats in the elections as long as the Democratic Party fails “to convince itself that it is this misunderstood vehicle for what people really want,” adding, “They often say, when they lose elections, we lost.” Our message is not getting through.
