The soon-to-be-expiring Biden administration is acting as if an invading foreign power is about to seize power and the house must be burned down to prevent the “invaders” from succeeding.

In the past few weeks, the cynicism meter has risen several notches due to decisions made by the outgoing president and others in his administration. First came the pardon Hunter Bidenthen nearly 1,500 others, including a former Pennsylvania judge who used his own prison system to incarcerate juveniles, making a profit. Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro tore up the pardon, saying Biden got it “completely wrong” in the so-called “kids for money” scandal.

Among other questionable pardons and clemency cases, Biden's pardon for Rita Crundwell was the first Superintendent Dixon, Illinois. Crundwell was convicted in 2013 and sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison for stealing nearly $54 million over two decades from the town of 15,000. It is said to have been the largest municipal fraud in US history. Crundwell, now 71, admitted to embezzling from the city and using the stolen money to support a lavish lifestyle. According to WTTW, “Officials have recovered only $40 million in city funds stolen from court settlements, auditors' work and proceeds from the liquidation of Crundwell's assets.”

Biden was engaged in a cheap sale of steel barriers ordered by the previous Trump administration to build a wall and secure the southern border. These materials were paid for with taxpayer money. This is part of what appears to be a cynical plan to thwart the incoming Trump team and make their task of border control more difficult. I do not remember a transformation like this in our history.

Then came drones. The administration claims that they are not adversaries of the United States and do not pose any threat to public safety. They also claimed to know nothing about them. If they don't know anything, how can they confirm that they are not from foreign entities and will not harm people?

Bernie Sanders believes pardoning Hunter Biden sets a 'dangerous' precedent

The drones have been seen for weeks over New Jersey and New York, and were recently spotted over California and Nevada. A woman called into a D.C. talk show and said she and her daughter saw 30 drones flying over southern Maryland. Former Republican governor of Maryland, Larry Hogan, posted photos of what he said were drones flying over his home on the outskirts of D.C. With no reliable information coming from Biden administrationConspiracy theories are afoot, along with accusations of a cover-up.

While a democrat New York City Mayor Eric Adams He says he will cooperate with the incoming Trump administration in removing immigrants in the country illegally, even from his own “sanctuary city,” and other Democratic mayors and governors have promised to resist deporting even those who have committed crimes and to “fortify Trump cities” and states.

The next “border czar” Tom Homan promised to send teams of agents into resistant cities and states controlled by Democratic politicians and remove immigrants. A Fox News poll conducted in October indicates that they enjoy the support of an overwhelming majority of Americans.

According to a poll of registered voters, support for deportation has increased significantly since 2015. “Among nonwhite voters, 57 percent now support mass deportations, while only 33 percent said they did so in 2015. Additionally, 91 percent of “Republicans now support deportations.” “An increase of 21 points since 2015. Support for rural voters rose by 20 points, support for urban voters rose by 19 points, and support for men increased by 16.” Even Democratic support for deportations rose to 42% from 34% in 2015.

It does not seem to matter to the Biden administration, which has five weeks to finish. They act as if Vice President Kamala HarrisIt was not Trump who won the election, and voters can be ignored.

A second Trump administration will have a lot of catching up to do. If their promised policies prove successful, look for public approval to remain high as they and the GOP majority in Congress seek to reverse the damage caused by the Biden administration.
