Donald Trump Pro-life activists convicted under the FACE Act are expected to be pardoned during President Biden's administration in the coming days.

The pardon, first reported by The Daily Wire, will apply to activists convicted of protesting near abortion clinics during various demonstrations. The details and scope of the amnesty have not yet been revealed.

Thomas Cieselka, a spokesman for the pro-life law firm Thomas More Society, confirmed the pardon plans to Fox News Digital.

News of the plan comes just one day before the March for Life, an annual pro-life march held in Washington, D.C

Sen. Josh Hawley, Republican of Missouri, had it Trump called To pardon activists convicted under the FACE Act since the President was sworn in.

“No administration in history has targeted Christians like the Biden administration. We have seen one persecution after another, from closing churches during the coronavirus outbreak to raiding pro-life homes at the crack of dawn. Every pro-life prisoner wrongly imprisoned by Biden should be pardoned, Hawley wrote on X.

Hawley said he spoke with Trump about a possible pardon plan Thursday morning, saying they had a “great conversation.”

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, has also introduced legislation that would dismantle the FACE Act. Many lawmakers have argued that Democratic administrations have used it as a weapon against pro-life groups and Christians.

“97% of prosecutions under the FACE Act between 1994-2024 began against pro-life Americans; it's ludicrous to say the law has never been weaponized. Let's put HR 589 on the president's desk and end this once and for all.” “Everyone,” Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said in a statement in response to news of the pardon.

Trump also issued A blanket amnesty was granted to almost all prisoners on January 6 shortly after he was sworn in.
