While San Diego Comic-Con gets most of the national and even international attention, Southern nerds tend to flock to a completely different fan convention: Dragon Con, the five-day nonstop celebration of all things nerdy. Sure, it's full of the usual trappings like signs and vendor rooms, but everything has the loud, cluttered sway of an endless party. In fact, a lot of it Battlestar Galactica Reboot icons Edward James Olmos and Aaron Douglas felt inspired to tell a room full of fans about how the latter actor accidentally exposed his penis to an intact man in a particularly saucy blooper.
this Battlestar Galactica The story of the blunder began with a basic explanation of how the actors attached microphones to their costumes so their dialogue could be heard. A wire is usually passed over part of the actor's clothing and connected to a power unit in a secret location. For example, on an actor's shoes for a scene where the shoes wouldn't be visible. None of this would have been such a problem for the poor sound man if Douglas didn't have a funny tendency to go commando on set.
An error in the game Battlestar Galactica
Douglas began his part of this story by saying that one of the common questions a fan receives at conventions is whether he wears underwear or briefs, to which he happily answers with “neither neither.” This bizarre confession quickly became relevant, as the actor described his late arrival to… Battlestar Galactica hiring; He appeared on the barn roof wearing his familiar orange apron, setting the stage for an unintentionally hilarious blunder. He ran the audio cord down his leg, and Graham – the tall sound man – was kneeling on the floor, preparing to attach the power unit to the actor's shoe.
This was all business as usual for all the cast and crew, and Douglas continued to chat with various people while plugging in his microphone. For reasons he never fully explained, the actor suddenly decided to strike a Superman pose, causing his apron to slide down. For most actors, this would have been somewhat awkward, but here's why Battlestar Galactica The actor hated wearing his underwear, so he exposed his entire naked body, creating a blooper that was too hot to share with fans.
Adama saves the day
Incredibly, Douglas didn't realize something had gone wrong until he felt his penis touch something he described as “wrong.” He had a very disturbing thought of late: “This shouldn't hit something…it shouldn't hit something warm and flesh-like.” As the rest of the cast and crew began to focus on what had happened, Douglas looked down and saw bad sound man Graham looking terrified by his proximity to the actor's penis and his final contact with it.
on Battlestar Galactica This was a strange moment that could have been somewhat traumatic for everyone involved. Fortunately, the series' former lead came up with the perfect joke to instantly remove all the tension in the room. To Douglas's amusement and horror, Edward James Olmos Sum up exactly what happened in the funniest way possible: “Aaron just insulted the sound guy!”
During the Dragon Con panel, hearing his line retold by Douglas (with a funny imitation of the older man's voice) caused Olmos to giggle, and he couldn't resist keeping his fingers just a few inches apart to point out that the other actor…um…snake wasn't Very big. Instead of taking offense, Douglas responded with direct sarcasm Seinfeld:”I was in the pool!” From beginning to end, this story demonstrates the funny and uncanny chemistry between… Battlestar Galactica Cast, although this is a mistake so salacious that even the masters of COBOL would never reveal it to you.
