Pearl didn't look happy.
“This is what giving the Palestinians autonomy looks like. Do they look like they want peace?” he Written on X. “They waged war, killed and raped, built tunnels and hid under their own people, fired rockets from living rooms, then shouted genocide. Release the hostages now, then live in peace or leave the city.”
Pearl is not one to be shy Support for Israel. He has been among the most outspoken sports figures on the issue.
Early Saturday morning, the Israeli Cabinet approved a ceasefire agreement in Gaza that includes the release of dozens of hostages and an end to the war with Hamas that began after the movement’s attack on the Jewish state on October 7, 2023.

The agreement will allow for the release of 33 hostages during the next six weeks in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinians imprisoned by Israel. The remaining hostages are scheduled to be released in a second phase, which will be negotiated during the first phase.
Hamas agreed to release three hostages on the first day of the deal, four on the seventh day, and the remaining 26 during the following five weeks.
Hamas said it would not release the remaining hostages without a permanent ceasefire and complete Israeli withdrawal.

The 15-month war in Gaza began when Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, killing nearly 1,200 people and kidnapping about 250 others, prompting military retaliation by Israeli forces. About 100 hostages are still being held in Gaza.
