A plane carrying 181 people crashed at an airport in South Korea, killing at least 28 people, Yonhap News Agency reported.
South Korean News Agency reported that the plane veered off the runway and collided with a wall at Muan International Airport in the southwest of the country.
The Jeju Air plane, which was carrying 175 passengers and six flight attendants, was reportedly returning from Bangkok in Thailand and the accident occurred while landing.
One person has been found alive while the rescue mission continues, according to Yonhap.
An airport official told Reuters news agency that emergency services were trying to rescue people in the back of the plane.
Yonhap reported that the cause of the accident was unclear, but a bird collision may have caused a malfunction in the landing gear.
