Nothing is going well for Arsenal at the moment as they squandered a two-goal lead against Aston Villa in the English Premier League.
The Gunners were on a roll against Unai Emery's side thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz.
But goals from Villa in the second half, Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins secured a crucial point for Villa against Arsenal away from home.
The Gunners were without injured strikers Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka long-term.
Furthermore, star defender William Saliba missed the North London club's match due to another injury.
Saliba injured his hamstring during the victory over Tottenham in the English Premier League, and the French defender was unable to play against Aston Villa.
When Mikel Arteta was asked about the extent of Saliba’s injury, he said, according to what was reported by Al Evening standard:
“No, not yet.
“I think we'll have more information tomorrow, we'll do another test on him and we'll be clearer about that.”
Arteta was also pressed about the centre-back's injury and was asked if he was concerned about the current situation at the club.
He said:
“Yes, definitely, especially with the numbers in the team and looking at the bench – very concerned.”
Arsenal was unlucky with injuries throughout the season
Saliba joins the likes of Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Riccardo Calafiore as other defenders currently sidelined through injury.
The Gunners have been unlucky with injuries all season with Martin Odegaard, Calafiore, Jesus, Saka and White all out for long periods.
The lack of depth in the squad is evident which is why the Gunners are planning to make additions to the squad in the January transfer window.
They have been linked with a move to Sporting Lisbon striker Victor Guqueris And also out of favor Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
