West Ham United are reportedly preparing to part ways with Andy Irving.
The Scottish midfielder was signed from Austria's Klagenfurt in the summer of 2023 before immediately returning to the club on loan – where he scored 10 goals and five assists in 30 appearances in all competitions last season.
Irving was stuck at London Stadium in the previous transfer window – Although he is linked to Atalanta – But he has only managed to play 60 minutes in six matches in all competitions for the Hammers this season.
Irving is 24 years old and has yet to feature for Scotland at senior level, and needs to find a club where he can become a first-team regular to take his career forward.

Irving has previous experience in his homeland after playing at Hearts, where he participated in 59 matches with the Edinburgh team between 2017 and 2021, scoring five goals.
Naif Aghrd provides an update on West Ham
While it seems certain that Irving will leave West Ham, it remains unclear what the future holds for Naif Aghrd.
The Moroccan centre-back helped West Ham win the UEFA Conference League in 2022/23 but struggled last season.
Aguirard was loaned out to Real Sociedad in the summer and established himself as a regular, racking up a total of 1,506 minutes in 18 appearances in all competitions.
But Aguirard has two more years left on his contract if he returns from Spain. Even he's not sure what comes next.
“I still have two years left on my contract with West Ham, but now I'm just thinking about helping Real Madrid go as far as possible in the three competitions and then there will be time to think about the future.” Noon said.
“I don't know if I'll have to come back. I don't know if I'll stay here. I don't know if I'll go anywhere else. It's out of my hands.”
