Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe made the announcement Thursday This year's NFL Draft.
In a social media announcement, Melroe thanked his “Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” his family, teammates, and his family. “The whole Alabama family.”
“Football has always been a passion of mine, and ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of competing at the highest level. Through every win, every tough loss, and any criticism along the way, my love and devotion to the game has never wavered,” Melroe wrote. “Every day, I am more grateful for the opportunity to play this sport that I love.

“With that, I declare my entry for the 2025 NFL Draft. Roll Tide forever!”
Milroe set a career-high with 2,844 receiving yards in the 2024 season. His 726 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground this season were also his most with Alabama.
It's unlikely that Milroe will be a first-round pick, but it shouldn't be a surprise if he ends up on the first night of the draft in April of this year.
His college career did not end as well as the Crimson Tide It fell in Michigan19-13, in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday.
In what felt like déjà vu from the Rose Bowl the previous season, the Wolverines' defense stopped Alabama's offense on fourth down on the other side of the field. Milroe went 16-for-32 for 194 yards and ran for just four.
In all, Milroe played in 38 games for Alabama, completing 64.3% of his passes for 6,016 yards, 45 touchdowns and 20 interceptions; On the ground, he ran for a total of 1,577 yards and 33 touchdowns.

Milroe joins a quarterback class that will include Shedor Sanders and Cam Ward. It remains to be seen what Quinn Ewers and Carson Peck will do.
