Dust between an ardent Detroit Lions fan and Green Bay Packers Head coach Matt LaFleur during a Week 14 game led to dire consequences for the season ticket holder.

“I started talking badly to the other team, so I get that, but I don’t really think getting to that level was necessarily justified,” Youssef told the station.

LaFleur appeared to get into a shouting match with Youssef after presenting the American flag that Youssef was carrying on the court. The two were eventually separated by Packers staff and game officials, but the incident left the veteran coach distraught.
“I've never been a part of something like this,” LaFleur told reporters after the game. “He was talking inappropriately to our players, making a cut-throat sign, and you were trying to tone it down, and then he got in my face.”
