A man decided to take his relationship to the next level and to whole new heights by proposing to his girlfriend Mid-flight.
Sam Reber, a 34-year-old business executive from Pennsylvania, was inspired by Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore's film “The Wedding Singer” to propose to his current fiancée Lacey Alden, 37.
The Philadelphia resident first met Alden, owner of mental and organizational fitness company MYNDY, at a Shabbat dinner early last year. The two immediately felt a connection, SWNS reported.
“I almost didn't go to Shabbat dinner in February because I was tired, but my mom told me I needed to eat… I'm so glad I went,” Alden told SWNS.

Reaper and Alden are both movie fans, so the executive decided he wanted to recreate a scene from the 1998 comedy.

“I was able to casually suggest a movie night. She agreed and luckily she absolutely loved the movie, as much as I did,” he said. “We have since sung versions of that song to each other as we often quote or act out films to entertain each other, but she had no idea what my broader plan was.”
