A Texas man with a lengthy record of charges has been arrested after police say he broke into a home And stabbed His 58-year-old mother after she refused to hand over her wallet to him.
Joseph Anthony Abreu, 35, allegedly kicked in the door of the Houston home around 3:15pm local time on Saturday and once inside, demanded his mother's wallet.
Houston police say when she did not comply, Abreu pushed and stabbed her. The Farnsworth Street house is located about six miles north of downtown Houston. It is unclear whether the house is his mother's residence.
