California pastor whose church burned down downtown Raging forest firesHe says he wants to bring “hope” back to people in the state, despite the difficult circumstances they face.
Californians have been devastated by multiple wildfires that have scorched 27,000 acres of land around Los Angeles, according to a previous Fox News Digital article. At least ten people are suspected to have been killed due to the fires. In a time of great despair, when people are fleeing their homes, churches are coming together to give people the hope they need during these difficult times.
“For us K church“The walls of the building we were in burned down, so our goal now is to be the church outside of those walls,” Expression Church Pastor Christopher Spolar told Special Report on Friday. “We just want to be with people.” Giving people the hope that we have and know in Christ.”

Spolar, who says it's “a long road ahead for people in California,” expressed the power of meeting people where they are, in the midst of their struggles.
“The first thing we do is not to say anything,” the priest said. “We just meet people where they are.” “There's not a lot of words that can be said. For a lot of people, they've lost everything. We have someone in our church who made it out with not a lot of things that she could carry on his back, and so there's a lot of grief, a lot of shock, so, the first thing is Our point is we just want to sit with people, pray with them and remind them that we believe in a God of resurrection.

“It was really beautiful to see the unity between the churches and the pastors and that we are in this together, and we are one church,” Spolar said.
