The FAA said the accident occurred after several small drones that were part of a holiday display collided and fell into the crowd on Saturday, December 21.
Sky Elements Drones said in a statement that it is working with FAA officials and the city of Orlando, Florida, “to determine the cause and are committed to providing a clear picture of what happened.”
The second drone show that night was cancelled. The Federal Aviation Administration has opened an investigation.
