Wolves have confirmed Vitor Pereira as their new coach, with the Portuguese manager signing an 18-month contract with the club.
At 56 years old, Pereira brings a wide range of experience to Molineux, having claimed league titles in Portugal, Greece and China during his coaching career.
Pereira, the former Saudi Al Shabab coach, oversaw his first training session at Wolves' Compton Park facility on Thursday.
He will make his debut in the English Premier League as coach of Wolves when the team faces Leicester City this weekend.
Pereira began his coaching journey in 2004 with Portuguese club Sanguanense, and his CV now includes 13 managerial positions in several countries.
He enjoyed great success at Porto, winning back-to-back Portuguese league titles in 2012 and 2013, with his team losing just one league game in two seasons.
He later achieved a similar feat in Greece, where he led Olympiacos to the Super League title in 2015.

Wolves Chairman, Jeff Shea, welcomed Pereira to the club, saying: “We are delighted to welcome Vitor Pereira to Wolves as the new head coach of our men’s first team.
He added: “Vitor is a highly respected and experienced coach who has achieved success across different leagues and will bring a fresh approach to the next test.”
“This is a difficult moment for the club, and we want to thank Vitor for taking on this responsibility.
He added: “We have full confidence in his ability to guide us on the right path, along with the players and staff, and the entire club will be united in supporting him to achieve success.”
Sporting Director Matt Hobbs echoed these sentiments, adding: “Vitor is a highly experienced and accomplished coach who has demonstrated his ability to succeed at the highest level.
“His character, desire and leadership qualities have stood out to us throughout this process and we are excited to see how he applies his experience here at Wolves.
“I look forward to working closely with Vitor and his team on a daily basis, and supporting them in every way I can – from getting the most out of our staff at Compton to recruitment in the upcoming transfer window – as we work together to strengthen the team and achieve our collective goals.”
