Goldschneider explained that if she wanted to lose weight quickly, she could start using Medicines such as Ozempic. However, this method is not the best for her well-being.
“If you're on (Ozempic) — that's OK,” she said. “But I chose not to because I feel strongly that humans are supposed to feel hungry, that they're supposed to eat food, and they're not supposed to be skin and bones.”
Goldschneider called on her followers to be careful with the words they use, especially in relation to young women.
“If you have a daughter, I beg you, please do not compliment her by telling her that her body size is larger,” she advised. “Or don't talk about her body size unless there's a medical issue that needs to be addressed.”
In most scenarios, “if someone gains weight, I guarantee you they know it,” Goldschneider explained. She also shared that she won't let comments bring her down especially when she's been open about her struggle with an eating disorder.
“If your intention was not to compliment me but to passive-aggressively insult me and throw me off my game, it would never have happened,” she responded. “I've recovered from 20 years of anorexia, and I'm very proud of myself, and I also think my body is strong and beautiful, and honestly, it's a work of art. So enjoy looking at it. And yeah, that's it – well said, guys.”
Goldschneider previously spoke about her ordeal in her 2023 memoir, Beautiful weight.
