Addressing critics directly, Sweeney – who achieved major success after a year starring in films such as Madame Web, Immaculate and Eden – posted a comment Video montage on Instagram It included a number of horrific comments about her appearance.

At the end of the video, Sweeney shared footage of herself working out in the gym, lifting heavy weights, and training in the boxing ring.

Many were quick to praise Sweeney's applause.

Sweeney's final role as professional boxer Christy Martin left her unrecognizable. In a recent Instagram post, Sweeney wore a costume alongside the real Martin and they both held up a fist.

She added that she had pictures of photographers in “kayaks hiding in the bushes in the ocean. They got there at 8 a.m. and didn't leave until 4 p.m., and I should be home and feeling comfortable and safe.”
“When those pictures come out, my actual safety will be at risk,” she said of paparazzi photos of her at home. “Everyone knows where I am. Now there are boats passing by, and I literally hear them say, 'This is Sidney Sweeney's house.' It's become a star tour of my front yard.”
