BEIJING (Reuters) – China's economy is expected to grow by about five percent this year, the deputy director of China's Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission said on Saturday.
Han Wenxiu said at an economic conference that the world's second-largest economy is expected to contribute nearly 30% of global growth.
Han, also a senior official in the ruling Communist Party, said China's foreign exchange reserves are likely to remain above $3.2 trillion this year, while employment and prices are expected to remain stable.
