A father of three was shot and killed while returning home from his job installing Christmas lights at NASA's Johnson Space Center In Houston, Texas.

According to the Houston Police Department, investigators responded to a car accident along a busy highway at approximately 10:30 p.m. on December 2.

His obituary described him as family-oriented and hardworking.

“Robbie loved spending time with family and making lasting memories. If he wasn't working, you might see him at the neighborhood pond fishing to clear his mind,” the obituary said. “There are so many memories with the kids hiking, biking, and traveling that will remain in their hearts forever. He was a hard worker and took pride in his ability to fix just about anything – including his white Chevy truck.”

“His focus was on making Brittany happy and keeping her happy, and he would go so far as to ride roller coasters with her even though he hated her,” she said. β€œHe loved Robbie with all his heart and enjoyed helping those around him when he could.”
