The US State Department's Relief Agency in America can see that its employees have decreased from about 10,000 to less than 300 in the world as the Trump administration is making significant discounts in government spending.

All basic employees have already been placed on an administrative vacation at midnight on Friday, including thousands abroad. An online notice says that a travel plan is being prepared to return and end unnecessary contractors.

One of the unions representing employees – which is involved in a legal challenge of the plan – said to the CBS News partner at the BBC that only 294 employees have been considered necessary.

Trump's discounts to the United States Agency for International Development – which was defended by the cost reduction consultant Elon Musk – has pushed the global relief system, as hundreds of programs have already been frozen in countries around the world.

His team is accused of the American Agency for International Development of wasting taxpayers' money and failing to comply with the priorities of “first American” policy.

The poll referred to doubts between many Americans for external aid. The AP-NORC poll suggested from March 2023 up to nine out of every 10 Republicans who felt that the country was in excessive spending.

The United States is to a large extent the largest humanitarian aid provider around the world. It has bases in more than 60 countries and works in dozens of others, with many of its work that its contractors carry out.

The reported reduction plan that would leave less than 300 employees was described as “heavy” by former US International Development Agency president, Brian Atwood. Speaking to Reuters, he suggested that the move might kill an agency that saved millions of lives.

The US Foreign Service Union (AFSA), which suggested that only 294 employees on the “basic” list, cooperated with another group of work, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), to file a lawsuit for the plan.

In addition to Trump, the lawsuit aims at the US State Department, the United States Agency for International Development, the Treasury Ministry, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Secretary of Treasury Scott Payet.

The lawsuit argues that the president violates the US constitution and federal law by trying to dismantle the agency. “None of the defendants' behavior has been taken to dismantle the United States Agency for International Development according to the license of Congress,” she says.

“According to the federal statute, Congress is the only entity that may legalize the agency legally.”

He calls for the appointment of an independent director of the United States Agency for International Development, in order to reopen the US Agency for International Development Agency, so that the website of the United States Agency for International Development will be restored to re -grant grants and contracts, and for mandatory evacuation notifications to employees.

The judge is asked to immediately stop the implementation of the “Gastrointestinal Channel” plan for International Development, which was observed by the lawsuit, Elon Musk, due to the urgent need to appeal to help programs.

“These procedures have generated a global humanitarian crisis by stopping the sudden work of computers for employees and beneficiaries of the United States Agency for International Development and Contractors. They have commissioned thousands of American jobs. They have been disturbed by US national security interests,” the lawsuit says.

Thousands of American Agency for International Development expects to set an administrative leave from Friday night. This will be applied to all direct rental personnel from 23:59 EST (04:59 GMT).

On Wednesday, Rubio defended Trump's moves against the United States Agency for International Development, and told 200 workers in the Guatemala agency that the United States is not planning to stop distributing aid to foreign countries. But he said that the programs should be compatible with the priorities of the United States.

“The United States does not move away from foreign aid,” said the best diplomat in America. “it's not.

“We will continue to provide external aid and participate in programs, but it must be programs that we can defend.”

“The programs we can explain should be. We must be software that we can justify. Otherwise, we are at risk of external assistance.”
