Then Australia striker had the opportunity to restore the city's progress during the second half of 12 yards, although the kick of its spot was rescued.
However, Fowler drew herself with a late dramatic winner who found the lower right angle to send the city through.

“Fowler was not allowed to miss the punishment that affects it.”
“I think the players really deserve that after their performance. Sometimes you do not get it, but I felt that if we would go to additional time, we would really imagine us to get a goal because we were knocking on the door a lot tonight and we showed a good personality .
“We missed the punishment, but Mary scored a great goal before that and we may have extended a little more.
“We have surrendered a little from Arsenal's possession in periods, but I believed that the character that the team showed, especially Marie, and because she had a few teeth and did not really affect her, as the pause, is a sign of a better player.
“But I think it gave a lot to the team tonight. Everyone has worked hard to bring us on the line.”
