Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump, gave golden boxes during his visit to Washington, DC this week.
The call represents a “turning point in war” when Israel conducted a deadly operation against Hezbollah in September 2024, according to Netanyahu's office. In the operation, Israel targeted the summonses used by members of the Iranian -backed armed group, causing their explosion.
Dozens of people were killed and thousands were injured in the attacks. Israel said it was designed to target Hezbollah members only, but civilians were among the victims.
