YouTuber Young Philly is facing new charges of reckless driving, according to reports in Australia, where he has been accused of raping a woman.
Police accuse the 29-year-old, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, of driving in front of a speed camera at 158 kilometers per hour (98 mph) on the Perth Highway last month.
The speeding allegedly occurred while he was out on bail over an alleged attack on a woman at a Perth hotel in September.
The BBC has contacted Barrientos representatives and the police for comment.
Police say the speeding incident occurred on November 17 in Perth's High Wycombe area, where the speed limit is 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph), and his car was impounded.
He will appear in court charged with careless driving on November 19, where he will also appear on four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of obstructing a person's normal breathing or blood circulation by applying pressure on or to their neck. .
Barrientos allegedly brought a woman in her 20s back to his hotel room after performing at Bar1 nightclub in Perth. The rapper was on tour in Australia performing his music.
Barrientos is best known for his work with the YouTube collective Beta Squad and has presented shows on BBC Three.
He has also appeared in the UK on ITV's Soccer Aid and Channel 4's The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.
Barrientos also won the Mobo Award for Best Media Personality in 2021.
