Amy Allen has become the first woman to win the Best Grammy Songs Award

Perhaps you have not heard about the first woman to call the best songwriter in Grammys before – but perhaps she had sang to one of her songs.

Amy Allen stands behind a series of graphic tools, including Espesso Sabrina Carpenter and please please, and have also been nominated for shared writing paths with Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake and Tit Macray.

Allen was one of the four women who were nominated for this year's songwriter, non -classical, in the third year since its launch as an independent category.

In a letter of acceptance, she highlighted the prior lack of admitting the book of songs, adding: “Without us, there will be no songs for anyone who wins prizes.”

She was previously nominated for the award of the same award in 2023, and it is its opening year.

While she did not win after that, she took her first Grammy home to work at Harry Styles's house, who won the year album.

“The child who was inside me was starting to write songs when I was young in Maine screaming, crying and laughing at the absurdity of this moment,” she said on Sunday night.

“This is the third year for the songwriter for this year a category, so this award comes out for all the myths that she voted on life and generations with all our stories.

“You should be able to receive your flowers at that time.”

Allen, a singer who released her first album last September, entered the world of music at the age of eight – she played Bass in her sister's band.

I stayed in the band to high school and then went to the nursing school, before it decided to change the path and join Berkeley Music School. Its first project was like Amy and the engine, and it was the support law for singers like Kacey Musgraves and Vance Joy.

The first song for Allen for another artist came when Selena Gomez formulated for you – something that she said “she pushed” her career in writing pop songs. Then it was associated with Gomez to write my mind and ME, which was nominated for the best original Oscar song in 2023.

Allen has since taken a total of eight nominations, including four this year.

Carpetter helped write every path on an album that leads the Short N'sweet plans, as the singer told Variety that she was “a writer and a friend at once in a lifetime”, adding: “Everything comes to her very naturally and effortlessly.”

This year, the participants in Allen Al -Mughni Ray, along with the book Jesse Alexander, Jesse Joe Delon and Edgar Barira.

She said the award also belongs to them, saying they “are fighting a good battle.”

“We are the engine that feeds the music industry,” she said. It has been overlooked and tested.

“From the word, we have a long way to cut it.”
