The Taiwanese actress Barbie Hassa died due to pneumonia after contracting with the influenza during her vacation in Japan, the local media report. It was 48.
HSU is one of the biggest names in the world of mankrin -speaking manorine and is famous for a championship in the Meteor Garden 2001 series.
Meteor Garden has been named in several languages and made HSU a big star in the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.
Her sister, De Has, confirmed her death for the news of Taiwan Tvbs on Monday.
“During the new lunar year, the family came to Japan to spend a vacation. Unfortunately, my dear sister Barbie, after obtaining pneumonia, which led to influenza,” De Hasu said in a statement.
“I am grateful for being her sister at this age, and I take care of each other … I will always be grateful to her and remember her.”
