UFC star Colby Covington wasted no time taking photos during a media appearance on Wednesday, but he didn't target upcoming opponent Joaquin Buckley.

Instead, Covington broke into an NBA superstar LeBron James.

It wasn't a reporter's question that prompted Covington to launch into a rant about the greatest basketball scorers of all time.

He began his press conference by questioning James about an old video that resurfaced with James talking to disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs about his now-infamous “Diddy parties.”

“I'll start this off, you know, since I'm the man of the hour, the man of the show.” Covington said. “I want to ask LeBron what he means when he says, 'There's no party like Diddy's party.' I really want to know, and not only that, LeBron, how many Diddy concerts have you actually been to? And is that the reason you left social media because of all the backlash? What happened to you because you went to a lot of Diddy's concerts?

The comment Covington is talking about was from an old Instagram live stream “P Diddy” And James, in which the basketball star said, “There's no party like Diddy's,” which the music mogul loved.

It's a comment that didn't sit well since Combs was charged with racketeering conspiracy. Sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation for prostitution in a federal indictment unsealed on September 17.

Authorities alleged that Combs ran a criminal enterprise through his companies, which included Bad Boy Entertainment, and frequently presented “Freak Offs,” which are described as “elaborately produced sex performances during which Combs arranged, directed, and masturbated, often electronically recorded.” To the indictment.

James recently confronted an NFL fan who accused him of attending Combs' parties until security intervened. It is unknown if James has attended any of Combs' concerts in the past.

“It's pathetic, man,” Covington added. “People think this guy is a role model. He wants to defund the police, who are the most patriotic people in America, who serve and protect our country.

“LeBron, you're such an asshole, I hope you get locked in the same cell as Diddy.”

James wasn't the only target of Covington, who also shot fellow fighter John “Bones” Jones, among other fighters in the sport.

Covington has been vocal about James in the past, always one to speak his mind and stir up some controversy during his media appearances.
