Randy Moss Jr. Thaddeus closes report his father has liver cancer

Thaddeus Mossson of an NFL legend Randy MossHe strongly shot down rumors of his father's current health struggle.

Anxiety began to build around Randy, 47, after Larry Fitzgerald SrFather of the former NFL star Larry Fitzgeraldit was posted via X on Tuesday, December 10, that Randy “has liver cancer.”

“Let's show the power of prayer and pulling moss through this 🙏🙏🙏,” Larry Sr. wrote. “I love you Randy.”

ESPN announced on Friday, December 6, that Randy You will move away From the network Sunday countdown “For a long time to focus on the personal health challenge.”

However, Thaddeus did not take kindly to Larry Sr. publishing about his father without the family's approval.

“That's disgusting,” Thaddeus replied via x Tuesday. “You have no right to try to make private matters public for the sake of sharing. I don’t think my father is talking to you, so check your F—” sources.

It didn't take long for Larry Sr.'s message — which has since been deleted — to pick up steam.

Former NFL quarterback Brett Favrewho briefly played with Randy on the Minnesota Vikings, posted via X, “Just heard the news that Randy Moss has liver cancer. Prayers for him and his family.”

Thaddeus replied, “Brett, the support is appreciated, really. That is not true. My father will address the world when he is ready.”

Brett edited his post and deleted the line about Randy having cancer.

While Larry Sr. did not respond directly to Thaddeus, he did repost a message that appeared to acknowledge his initial message about Randy was false.

“If I'm being 100% honest, I would appreciate the prayers,” Re Intention said via X.

Randy first He opened up about his unspecified illness on Sunday countdown Earlier this month.

“My wife, my family, and I are all fighting something internally,” Randy said on the Dec. 1 broadcast. “I couldn’t miss the show, I wanted to be here with you guys.”

Randy married his wife, Lydia Mosssince 2015.
