Jamie Carragher impressed as Jacob Ramsey scored his first league goal since September 2023 to give Aston Villa an eighth-minute lead at home to West Ham on Sunday.
Ramsey completed the exchange with Ollie Watkins before shooting the ball into the far corner of Alphonse Areola's goal, scoring his second goal this season. Beating Young Boys 3-0 in the Champions League.

Villa vs West Ham: Watkins denied
Villa thought they had scored a second goal down the same left flank two minutes later when Morgan Rogers slotted home Watkins' pass.
