Jinger Duggar She opened up about what it was like following her family's modest dress code during a TLC group photo shoot.
“Getting everyone into something they've always wanted to wear has been a little difficult,” Duggar, 31, said on the Jan. 22 episode of her and her husband's show. Jeremy Vuolo's Self-titled podcast. “I was always a little nervous about it because I didn't know what wardrobe they were going to go for. So that's the thing I was hesitant to go into.”

Jinger explained that while on set, the wardrobe team would provide the outfits they had chosen for the reality stars. According to Ginger, they will “try to choose things that they think you would normally choose for yourself.”
“They had the whole Duggar-style wardrobe. So it was like Old Navy, and maybe even some WalMart clothes were in there, and it's very cool and very simplistic Duggar-style. “They had our entire wardrobe, and then they had somebody else's wardrobe “Beside them.”
While there were plenty of options to choose from, Ginger claimed that size options will vary. She recalled one time where a dress was “two sizes too big” and she needed to have it fitted to fit her. The wardrobe team will also disguise their attempts at makeshift tailoring by having Ginger wear a jacket over the dress.
Jinger also shared that the wardrobe team had fact sheets for her and her family that included their photos as well as size information. “A couple of them didn't realize we weren't wearing pants,” she said, but noted that the network never tried to get her to wear anything that didn't suit her style.
Jinger also claimed that the wardrobe would return the clothes after the photo shoot. However, if someone wants to keep an item of clothing, they sometimes “allow you to keep the outfit depending on the cost.”
While the fashion aspect of photoshoots was a struggle for Ginger, she enjoyed seeing other members of the network that she normally wouldn't. Ginger likened bringing other shows together to a “circus.”
“Most of the time we were separated, they tried to give you your own space so you wouldn't meet other people,” she said. “In hair and makeup or in the wardrobe or when you walked outside your tent, you could see people you knew.”
