“No one in any federal agency under President Biden can point us in the right direction,” Gaines added. “It took one viral tweet in the Trump administration for this to be fixed overnight.”
She also praised the policy change on X.
“Huge news,” Gaines wrote. “After the tweet below, USCIS has rescinded its Covid vaccination mandate for legal immigrants. I can't even tell you the thousands of people in the same situation who have come into contact over the past few years. Promises have been made, promises have been kept. Thank you, @realDonaldTrump.”
