Tottenham are reportedly already searching for a potential replacement for struggling manager Ange Postecoglou, with a candidate from within the Premier League said to be impressive.

According to a report from Football Transfers, Tottenham would be ready to make a move to appoint an Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna replaces Postecoglou.

It has been a difficult start to the season for Tottenham, who had some impressive moments with 3-0 and 4-0 wins at Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium, respectively, while also dropping a lot of points in games they should have taken. I did better.

More recently, Postecoglou's side suffered a disappointing defeat to Bournemouth, while throwing away a 2-0 lead to lose 4-3 at home to Chelsea.

Arsenal, Newcastle and Villa are competing to sign the wonderful player!

This appears to have put Postecoglou under enormous pressure, so could McKenna be brought in to try and turn things around?

McKenna has done a hugely impressive job during his time with Ipswich, and was already attracting interest from top clubs over the summer.

both of them Manchester United and Chelsea have looked at the 38-year-oldwho was also previously on the coaching staff at Manchester United.

Tottenham could now do well to pounce on McKenna, although it remains to be seen whether he would be keen to leave Portman Rudd mid-season.

Ipswich will certainly be hoping they can keep hold of the Northern Irish tactician after the impressive work he did in guiding them to the Premier League in the first place.

It will be difficult for them to recover if their highly-rated manager leaves, although it also seems pretty inevitable that he will be in the mix for the bigger jobs at some point in the not-too-distant future.
