the New York City Police said the Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine the woman's cause of death after her body was found on a subway train.
At approximately 2 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a 911 call at the 179 Jamaica Street station, where they found “an unconscious, unresponsive, unidentified adult female” on a northbound F train, the New York Police Department said in a statement.
Emergency medical services provided assistance and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She may be homeless, between 50 and 60 years old The New York Post reports.
Police told the media that she was found while the train driver was touring the train's first stop in Queens. The newspaper said that the woman did not show signs of shock.

The NYPD said no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
