MILAN (Reuters) – Generali (BIT:) and France's BPCE said on Tuesday they have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to merge their asset management operations with the aim of creating Europe's largest player by revenue.

The deal is expected to be completed by early 2026, the two companies said in a statement.
