Journalist Piers Morgan He called Lorenz's apparent sympathy for the shooter during an episode of “Piers Morgan Uncensored” that aired Monday night. During the program, Lorenz admitted she felt “joyed” by Thompson's death.

When a shocked Morgan confronted her, saying that Thompson was a “husband and father,” Lorenz replied, “And so were the tens of thousands of Americans he killed! And so were the tens of thousands of Americans, innocent Americans, who died because of it.” Greedy health insurance managers like this push a policy of denying care to the most vulnerable people.”
