Philadelphia Eagles Star Saquon Barkley beat Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Fiers on his way to a 62-yard touchdown score in the first quarter of the playoff game.

The landing looked to be quite impressive as Verse was unable to chase down Barkley. The rookie Pro Bowl player fired shots at Eagles fans before the game.

“I hate Eagles fans. They're so annoying,” he said. Earlier in the week. “When I see green and white, I hate it. I get really upset. I get really excited.”

Barkley questioned the timing of Fair's comments.

“Maybe it's not a wise thing to say when you come to Philadelphia,” he said. Via ESPN. “I've been on the other side (as a member of the New York Giants) and even if I felt a way, I probably wouldn't give them any more fuel. I'm sure the Philadelphia fans saw that. The commentary was already loud and shaky, so it'll just add to it.”

Verse received some taunts from fans at Lincoln Financial Field as the Rams prepared for their divisional round game. His remarks were displayed on Lincoln Financial Field's video board as the game got underway.

Barkley's touchdown put Philadelphia up 13-7 with 1:07 remaining in the first quarter.

The run came after quarterback Jalen Hurts ran for 44 yards to start the game.
