I noticed that a few hives started to spread on my body – WV Raman
WV Raman said his routine visit turned into a life-threatening situation when he suffered a severe allergic reaction. Raman stated that he noticed hives spreading throughout his body after taking the medication prescribed to him. He started having chest congestion and strange blood gushing into his face while driving.
“Last Tuesday I started consulting my GP due to a viral infection I had. He prescribed me some medication and after an hour I took it after food. After 2 hours, I noticed that some hives started spreading on my body,” Raman wrote in a post on X (formerly known as On behalf of Twitter).
“I called my doctor and he suggested I go to the hospital and get an injection to treat a typical allergic reaction to medication/food. I may have ignored or delayed but I felt a slight spike of blood in my face. It was strange I thought, and I headed to the hospital,” he added.
This topic is just to point out that we cannot ignore or reject what our body transmits to us:
