ADA Dominick “Sonny” Carisi has a close relationship with Olivia Benson on screen, but so does Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Actors Peter Scanavino and Mariska Hargitay.
“I think my relationship with Mariska really reflects theirs,” Scanavino, 44, said. “I have a family and I think Carisi and I are very similar in that way. Scanavino also said he was “not entirely sure” how Carisi would overcome the trauma he experienced SVU Season 26 continues.
