Three former members of Indiana men's basketball team They accused former team doctor Bradford Bomba Sr., 88, of sexually assaulting them during their playing days.

Flowers, who played for the Hoosiers in 1981 and 1982, said he underwent at least two unnecessary prostate exams.

Longtime trainer Tim Jarl has now been listed as a defendant, with Flowers saying Jarl was aware of the invasive, harassing and humiliating digital rectal examinations conducted by Bomba.
“After his first physical examination, Flowers’ colleagues told him that he had passed Dr. Pompa Sr.’s test and that he would never have to undergo a digital rectal exam again,” the lawsuit said, via CBS Sports. Jarl laughed at Flowers and his new colleagues and made jokes at their expense regarding the digital rectal examinations they had undergone.
The university declined to comment officially but sent A Statement from September Which said the school was conducting its own independent review into the matter.
The players' attorney, Kathleen Delaney, said Bomba may have sexually assaulted at least 100 athletes during his time at the school. Jarl and Pumbaa's attorney did not respond to a request for comment.
Bomba defended the fifth case during his testimony last month.
Mujesinovic and Miller, who played under coach Bobby Knight in the 1990s, also claimed Bomba performed Prostate examinations Which wasn't necessary.

“The routine sexual assaults inflicted upon Dr. Pompa Sr. by Hoosier men's basketball players were discussed openly in the locker room in the presence of IU employees, including assistant coaches, athletic trainers and other Hoosier men's basketball employees,” the lawsuit states. “. Via NBC News.
“I stand up for all student-athletes who have suffered abuse,” Mojzinovic said in a statement. “I hope more of our former colleagues will speak up and share their stories publicly.”
“I will never understand why the leadership of the International Federation did nothing to protect us from what I now understand to be sexual assault,” Miller said.
“I am proud to stand on behalf of my former teammates and other IU basketball players to get justice for the sexual assault we experienced as members of the Hoosiers,” Flowers added.

Bomba worked at the university from 1962 to 1970, and again from 1979 until the late 1990s.
