Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice said his side could have scored 10 goals against Tottenham in the north London derby.
The Gunners won 2-1 thanks to an own goal from Dominic Solanke and a shot from Leandro Trossard.
It returns Mikel Arteta's men to second place, four points behind Liverpool, who have a game in hand at the top of the Premier League table.
Speaking after the match, Rice said: “You could say tonight meant more than anything else. From the first minute, the first half was pure domination. We showed intent, pressure and desire, and you could say it was a derby game. I think we might have been Unlucky that we didn't score 10 goals tonight, that's the feeling.
“You don't need a message. When you play for Tottenham you know what it means to the fans. As a player, if you can't play for Tottenham, you shouldn't be playing football. You have to have that fire in your belly.”
“In the second half, the game stretched out. Maybe they could have scored two goals, but we could have scored five or six more, and that's the disappointing thing.
“The three points are the most important. I hope we can now run because this is the most important part of the season.

“We're unlucky because we probably didn't score 10 goals tonight.”

Despite Rice's comments, Arsenal only managed 1.64 points, suggesting they were more effective rather than wasteful in front of goal.
But they still got the three points and Arteta was a happy man in his post-match interview.
He added: “Excellent today. From the first minute we were in a state of extreme tension. We played with a real aim to hurt them. We created an incredible atmosphere.”
“We know how important the match is. It is a gift that we can make the fans very happy.
“The way we played, not feeling sorry for ourselves, was exceptional. We played 120 minutes three days ago.
“We had some big chances and big situations. In the end we had to suffer more than we wanted to.
“When you have opportunities (to close the gap) you have to take them. We are really consistent in the Premier League. It's about the recovery tomorrow and Aston Villa on Saturday, home and away.
