According to Club Insider DOOD, West Brom have been in contact with former Stoke City and Plymouth Argyle coach Steven Schumacher.

In what is described as a “major turnaround”, Schumacher and Deitch's agents have been contacted about a potential move to Hawthorn.

“While it is fair to take into account his time at Stoke as a negative on his potential appointment, I think there are certainly worse candidates out there.”

Burgess added: “I think he's a manager that will divide the fanbase right from the start, as there are more negative feelings towards him because of his time at Bet365 Stadium. But personally, I wouldn't be completely against that.”
