The Los Angeles County District Attorney released footage showing the looting at a home in Pacific Palisades and the arrest of an arson suspect in the nearby city of Azusa.
Looting suspects could face life in prison under California's “three strikes” law — under which repeat offenders can be sentenced to 25 years in prison after a third conviction.
The district attorney said the arson incident was not related to any major fires and allegedly started in a local park.
