Two late goals snatched Brentford's 2-2 draw against Manchester City on Tuesday.
A profligate first half saw both sides create a host of smart chances. City's dominance appeared to be back as they managed 20 touches inside Brentford's penalty area, but they could only translate that into two shots on target before half-time.
Savinho hit the post five minutes into the second half, and Erling Haaland should have opened the scoring with a header soon after, but after Mikkel Damsgaard's goal was ruled out for offside, City got the lead they deserved when Phil Foden slotted home a brilliant shot. Converted from a Kevin De Bruyne cross.
Nathan Ake cleared off the goal line to preserve City's lead, which was doubled 12 minutes from time when Foden scored a rebound to give Pep Guardiola's side a lead that looked insurmountable.
But Brentford refused to lie down. In the 82nd minute, Yoani Wesa succeeded in reducing the deficit for the hosts, before Christian Norgaard scored the equalizer in stoppage time with a header.
The Bees even thought they had won the title in the 95th minute, but Ake cleared another shot off the goal line to salvage a point for the stricken City.
